Choosing the correct type of lighting for each room in your home could
turn out to be one of the main elements of making your home look
charming and elegant. The correct lighting will certainly make you feel
comfortable, safe and secure, and above all it will help you perform
your household tasks easily and efficiently.
You can use lights to enhance the ambiance of your bedroom, accent the
artwork in your living room, or even dramatize the texture of your
walls. Lighting your home with professional work and high quality
fixtures will have a very positively stunning effect.
It is imperative that you use licensed, insured, and bonded electricians
to perform your installation. Even though there may be a handful of
handymen who will install the lights inexpensively, it is just not worth
it to put you or your family's safety in danger. By choosing a
professional, you will be happy you chose them for, to your sheer
delight you will find that they excel in their work and you do not have
to clean up after them or worry about having problems.
Here is a letter I received recently from a customer of mine. Have a
look at her thought process and how happy she was that she made the
decision to improve her old lighting:
"I had pretty much had enough of my old kitchen; the linoleum floors,
the cabinets with so many layers of paint they looked plastic, and the
stark lighting that made all the food look bad. It was time to
redecorate and make some changes. I wanted a pleasant, modern
environment in which to cook. I had all new cabinets installed,
beautiful granite countertops, and attractive tile to replace the ugly
worn linoleum. But what could I do with the lighting? That single bulb
in the middle of the ceiling just wasn't enough. My decorator
recommended Kitchen soffit lighting, a type of recessed lighting that
could be strategically placed for just the right ambience. It sounded
perfect, and it really made a world of difference in my kitchen. The
lighting is more diffused, yet bright enough to make the kitchen cheery
and functional. Redecorating my kitchen was a great idea, and the room
feels far more welcoming now. It was certainly money well spent."
As you can see, she feels as though the improvement she made was well worth the time and money spent.
